WHY Electric picnic?

Ireland’s largest gathering of music & arts with a stellar line-up featuring Hozier, Chappell Roan, Sam Fender and Kings of Leon.

Activities, arts and a veritable cultural feast make Electric Picnic one of the world’s most special festivals. Alongside the epic music line-up, you’ll find a huge selection of art, theatre, comedy, food and holistic health. Good thing you’ll get a whole day off as a Charity Concierge Volunteer.

volunteering Roles at Electric picnic

Charity Concierge are returning to Electric Picnic to provide that little bit of luxury we’re known for to festival goers. The volunteer roles available in 2025 include: General Services, Team Mum and Team Leader (see below for more info).

  • General services concierges are the closest to the action throughout the festival! Provide drinks services across bars and main stages whilst soaking the festival atmosphere.

You'll need to arrive the Wednesday afternoon before the festival for a mandatory briefing. The exact shifts will be confirmed closer to the time, but usually you'll have three 7 or 8 hour shifts with a full day-off over the weekend. Shifts will not finish later than 9pm.

  • Help Child.org run our family hubs at Electric Picnic; a calm space for baby changing and feeding.

As a maternal health charity, we are passionate about ensuring that these spaces remain safe, clean and relaxed. It’ll be your job to make sure that this is the case - answering any questions, offering help where necessary and sharing more about our charity.

If you’re passionate about Child.org and what we do, this is the role for you! Plus, these huts will be situated in the main arena, so seriously close to the action.

This role is front-facing and about creating a safe space for parents. We will provide some safeguarding training.

You'll need to be onsite by Wednesday afternoon for a briefing. You'll have three 7 hour shifts, with a full day off over the main festival weekend. Shifts will not end later than 8pm.

  • As a Team Leader of either Team Mum or General Services volunteers, you’ll be responsible for a team of 10 - 15 concierges.

You’ll make sure your team knows what they are doing and how they can be awesome Concierges. In particular, you’ll need to ensure that your team are present and on time for their shifts, and that they’re aware of what their role entails (you can always ask core management for help). You’ll also need to motivate your team and keep their spirits high!

*you may need to attend shifts 30 minutes early to prep and support the team.

important information

  • You will be required to pay a fully refundable deposit of €280 (£250 - payment will be taken in GBP as this is where our offices are based) when you register. This secures us against people who want the free ticket but aren't planning to do the work. Electric Picnic is one of Ireland’s most in-demand festivals and volunteer spots are extremely limited. A higher deposit ensures full commitment to Charity Concierge and the volunteering experience. Remember, this isn’t a fee - you will be refunded in full in the week following the festival as long as you have completed all your shifts and adhered to our Volunteer Code of Conduct

  • If you cancel within 3 weeks before the festival without a valid reason (please see our Terms & Conditions) then we are under no obligation to return your deposit. The same applies if you fail to attend all of your shifts without a good reason.

  • You must be over the age of 18 on the starting date of the event. Please do not register if you will not be 18 at this time.

  • We will provide you with your Concierge T-Shirt!

  • All Concierges will be expected to read and comply with our Volunteer Code of Conduct.

  • For more information see the FAQs or you can get in touch with us at hello@charityconcierge.org.
